Until now, my work has been composed of a multitude of simple, spontaneous gestures posed on objects of all kinds. I fold, I glue, crumple and cut. Although I have previously been very interested in objects that are quickly consumed (paper towels, plastic ustensils, etc), I now use almost anything. In fact, anything that I can get my hands on is likely to end up in one of my sculptures. When I work with a chair, a toilet paper roll or a ping-pong ball, I don’t work with ideas. It is the material qualities of the chair, the toilet paper roll or the ping-pong ball that particulary interest me. Some objects can be folded, others can be torn. This is how I approach the objects and the materials that I use.
