SYNDROME WPW

Sickness. Curse. Italy. Heavy metal. Bontempi. Introverted destructive, urban epileptic, WPW Syndrome’s laptop-free electronic show includes misfortune, a little neurosis and rifle bullets. Originally from Lausanne, Switzerland, and active since 2004, WPW Syndrome has given concerts in Europe, Japan, the United States and Canada. WPW Syndrome released its first album, Marek Marek’s Murder in October 2008 on Midinette Records. Mixed by the Berlin producer Shapemod, also an engineer of Peaches and Planning to rock, it features 14 tracks of an aggressive analogue electronic punk rock full of aggressiveness, with a strong affinity with heavy metal, western and Italian-disco. On stage, we find a similar energy: far from the laptop performances usually associated with electronic music, we witness an uncompromising performance that resembles nothing else.

NOIA

In 2008, Eduardo Noya began composing 8-bit music with his Gameboy and accompanied himself on bass. In 2009, he was joined by Pierre-Luc Simon on drums and the duo performed at the third edition of the Toy Company festival, at the MEG, at the Biennale de Montréal and at the Off du Festival d’été de Québec, where it generated excellent reactions. In 2010, they released their first album on the young label L’œil du tigre. NOIA’s energy lies somewhere between the raw power of Lightning Bolt, the innocence of the video game soundtracks of the 1980s and 1990s and some electrokitsch influences. A unique musical performance, not to be missed.
